Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a service offered by some employers to their employees to support their well-being and productivity at no cost to the employee. It includes confidential counseling and assistance services for mental health, substance abuse, financial and legal concerns, and other personal problems that may affect an employee's work performance. EAPs can also offer support to an employee's family members. The goal of an EAP is to provide employees with resources and support to help them navigate challenging situations, improve their overall health and well-being, and ultimately improve their job performance. This is an option if your insurance deductible is too high.
